The genome of the yeast isolate SILY0002 from animal feed was assembled by using the obtained FASTQ files with the LRSDAY v1.6 pipeline [Yue and Liti 2018] combined with other softwares. Long reads were first adapter trimmed, filtered and downsampled to 60× coverage, assembly (Flye v2.9) [Freire, Ladra, and Parama 2022] was polished with long reads (with 3× Racon v1.4, 3× Medaka v1.4) [Vaser, Sović, Nagarajan, and Šikić 2017] and reads from the Illumina sequencing (1× with POLCA) [Zimin and Salzberg 2020]. The LRSDAY pipeline was also used to annotate the individual genome features.
