资源简介:
This study set out to examine peoples views in relation to treatment of tourists, job-sharing, and crime and the media; and compare them across cities in Australia and New Zealand. This data covers Australia only, but the survey was also conducted in New Zealand. It aimed, firstly, at determining peoples opinions of how tourists are treated when they visit this country. Secondly, at determining how willing people are to job-share. And thirdly, at determining whether people think crime is on the increase, and how accurate they think media reporting of crime is. The main variables include: how well we treat tourists visiting our country, whether crime has increased or decreased and its seriousness in relation to media reporting, and degree of willingness to take reductions in pay and working hours for job-sharing. The background variables include: occupation, ethnic origin, marital status and household location and size, and income.
