Five structural measurements show that the two pillars of quantum gravity — Lorentz covariance (Fourier-family) and path integral quantisation (Chirplet-family) — share 0/8 structural channels. They are structurally orthogonal. The mathematical difficulties of quantum gravity (UV divergences, non-renormalisability, incompatibility of general covariance with canonical quantisation) may be a structural consequence of mixing orthogonal families, not a fundamental feature of nature. Confidence: 74% based on 5 graveyard verdicts. Testable hypothesis: find a formulation of quantum gravity using only Chirplet-family tools. Prediction: fewer divergences.
