Research hotspots and trends in acupuncture for depression: a bibliometric analysis from 2000 to 2025

This dataset contains the raw data and processed results supporting the findings of the bibliometric study titled "Research hotspots and trends in acupuncture for depression: a bibliometric analysis from 2000 to 2025". The data were retrieved from multiple databases on July 29, 2025, including the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), PubMed, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and Wanfang Data. Included are all records related to acupuncture and depression published between 2000 and 2025. The dataset enables replication of the bibliometric analysis and verification of the study's findings.
