River Forecasts

This collection includes any publications or observations about river forecasts within the United States. This includes forecasts for river flooding, water level, and forecast locations. In addition, a historical publication is available that describes in detail the river forecast and warning services as well as other hydrological services provided by the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS), including information highest stages at NWS gauges and at locations prior to gauge records, and a list of points for which water supply forecasts are issued during the Period of Record (1873-1980).
