Discharge-augmented reach-bracketing reproducibility package: three-campaign PFAS load-space analysis, Trinity River headwaters

Data and code archive for a three-campaign synoptic PFAS study of the West Fork Trinity River headwater network near NAS JRB Fort Worth, Texas. It reproduces, from raw inputs, the complete analysis reported in the accompanying article. The study pairs EPA Method 1633 PFAS measurements from a 15-site reach-bracketing network with exact sample-time USGS discharge, converting a concentration-space analysis into instantaneous load space. Doing so reverses the temporal inference at the gaged downstream node (TW08): ΣPFAS₄₀ concentration fell 10.0% between the two winter campaigns while instantaneous load rose 7.4%, then climbed a further 42.7% into late spring. Network topology and analyte composition independently identify a priority tributary reach (Farmers Branch) and an AFFF-consistent, sulfonate-rich fingerprint reproduced from winter to late spring.
