Share of consumers that have bought motor insurance online in the UK 2019, by age

According to a nationally representative online survey of UK consumers conducted by Findoutnow.co.uk for Statista, approximately 60 percent of respondents had purchased motor insurance online at some point.Interestingly, the lowest percentage of respondents that had purchased motor insurance online belonged to the age group of 18 to 24. It could be speculated that the overall ownership rate of motor vehicles for the age group is lower, and therefore the share of respondents purchasing motor insurance at all may also be lower.
