The Guinea Pig Herpes-Like Virus (GPHLV) was cultured on a guinea pig (GP) fibroblast cell line 104C1 (CRL-1405). RNA samples were isolated at 8 different time points post-infection (using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen) & RNeasy kit (Qiagen)) at the following intervals: 4h, 8h, 16h, 24h, 48h, 72h, 96h, and 120h. After isolation, the RNAs were poly(A)-selected using Lexogen's Poly(A) RNA Selection Kit V1.5, and from these, both direct RNA (SQK-RNA004) and direct cDNA (SQK-LSK114) libraries were prepared. The prepared libraries were sequenced using the Promethion P2 Solo device. Basecalling was performed with the Dorado basecaller developed by Nanopore. The uploaded files contain both host and viral RNA reads along with sequencing adapters and are in fastq.gz format. This dataset is suitable for the structural and dynamic study of transcripts expressed by both viral and host genes with resolution at different time points.
