Online review dataset from Agoda and Trip.com for tourist hotels in Taipei

This dataset contains 19,728 de-identified English-language online reviews collected from Agoda and Trip.com for 32 tourist hotels in Taipei. The reviews cover the period from January 2023 to December 2025 and are organized into two platform-specific CSV files corresponding to Agoda and Trip.com. Each review record contains six fields: hotel, review_id, review_time, rating, rating_text, and text. The hotel field identifies the reviewed hotel; review_id is a researcher-generated identifier; review_time records the review publication time at the year–month level; rating and rating_text provide the numerical and textual rating information, respectively; and text contains the English review content. The dataset was cleaned and de-identified before publication. Reviewer names, platform user identifiers, nationality or location information, exact review dates, stay dates, and other account-related information were removed. The dataset can be used for academic research on natural language processing, sentiment analysis, text classification, hotel service quality, and customer experience.
