Antidiabetic, protective and islet regenerative capability of Dillenia excelsa in alloxan induced diabetic rats

This data describes the findings from the study conducted to determine the anti-diabetic and islet regenerative capabilities of the plant extract, Dillenia excelsa. The mean blood glucose readings of the respective animals in the selected groups and ratios of islet to tissue sizes are also included here.
