Technology cost data

This dataset contains the technology cost data used in Article “Early energy transition in India drives deeper decarbonization with lower cost”. For conventional fossil energy technologies including coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as coal fired and gas fired power generation, we apply the same cost assumptions across all scenarios. For the remaining technologies, we provide cost data under the BAU scenario. Cost trajectories in other scenarios can be computed using the code provided in this study together with technology deployment data and historical cost data.
