本数据集包含2000-2015年青藏高原地区城镇分布、城镇人口和建成区。城镇分布数据为2015年县级矢量边界，城镇人口及建成区数据年份为2000年、2005年、2010年和2015年。其中，城镇分布与建成区数据来源于中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所匡文慧老师研究团队，城镇人口数据来源于各年份人口普查数据、青藏高原所含各省统计年鉴等数据。数据质量优良，可用于青藏高原人口增长趋势分析、城镇扩展分析以及人类活动对城镇周边环境影响分析。

This dataset contains urban distribution, urban population and built-up areas in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 2000 to 2015. The urban distribution data is based on county-level vector boundaries in 2015, while the urban population and built-up area data correspond to the years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015. Specifically, the urban distribution and built-up area data are sourced from the research team led by Prof. Kuang Wenhui at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, whereas the urban population data is collected from annual census data, statistical yearbooks of provinces within the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and other relevant datasets. This dataset has high data quality and can be used for the analysis of population growth trends, urban expansion, and the impacts of human activities on the surrounding environment of urban areas in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
