Getting started on Dibharra. Fencing, pest control, seed collection

This project will help initiate the Gynburra Narungga Men's Group's vision of 'Healing Dibharra'.

Green Army Participants will start the restoration of the property by securing the site from wilful damage, fencing remnants, collecting seeds, initial set-up of the seed orchard, starting propagation and undertaking pest plant and animal management.

This will be done alongside a range of stakeholders, including Conservation Volunteers Australia, government agency staff, not-for-profit organisations, conservation contractors.

A Narungga ceremony will be held to celebrate project initiation. Connection will be fostered between Indigenous and non-Indigenous stakeholders and participants, to ensure long-term conservation and social outcomes.
