Gene expression and functional analyses of longan-Ran-mediated root hair development, reproductive growth and stress tolerance

Ran GTPases play essential roles in plant growth and development, while also controlling stress responses. To clarify the multiple ability of longan DlRan3A and DlRan3B, this study provided a clear link between the molecular changes impacted by Ran and its ability to regulate plant growth and development and to confer broad-range stress tolerance or sensitivity, emphasizing the importance of Ran regulatory mechanisms.
