Casearia kurzii, a species within the Casearia genus, is known for its rich medicinal value. However, research on this plant has been largely confined to its pharmacological activities. To deepen our understanding, we have sequenced its chloroplast genome and employed comparative genomic methods. This approach aims to clarify the genomic structure and phylogenetic relationships within the Casearia genus. By obtaining more genetic information, this research lays the foundation for species identification, genetic evolution, and the development of molecular markers in Casearia kurzii.
