Brazil: reasons for non-consumption of organic products 2023

According to a 2023 survey, almost half of Brazilian consumers interviewed (44 percent) that had not purchased organic products recently mentioned price among the reasons, making it the most chosen answer. Lack of knowledge or habit also influenced consumer choice. That year, more than a third of people surveyed had recently purchased organic products.
