资源简介:
These data are a product of the 2023 Pacific Northwest Quantitative Wildfire Risk Assessment (2023 PNW QWRA). The purpose of the 2023 PNW QWRA is to provide objective, science-based risk analytics that can be used to support strategic risk management across Oregon and Washington. Wildfire risk is quantified as the spatially coincident estimates of fire likelihood (burn probability), fire intensity (e.g., flame length) and the impacts susceptibility) of highly-valued resources or assets (HVRAs) for which risk is being evaluated. Burn probability and fire intensity were modeled based on 2022 landscape conditions. The 2023 PNW QWRA assessed wildfire risk to eight HVRAs. Outputs include spatial layers representing wildfire risk to three different summary levels. First, risk is summarized for each unique sub-HVRA, which are sub-groups within each HVRA category. Second, results are summarized for each HVRA. Third, results are integrated across all eight HVRAs. Outputs for each summary level are represented as conditional risk and expected risk.
