THE IMPORTANCE OF PAULOWNIA TOMENTOSA IN THE OPTIMIZATION OF THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT OF SAMARKAND CITY

This article analyzes the importance of Paulownia tomentosa for urban greening and ecological optimization in Samarkand. Based on the literature, the paper discusses the tree’s rapid growth, broad canopy, relative tolerance to heat and dust, and its decorative and functional value in the urban landscape. The prospects, application conditions, and limitations of the species in Samarkand’s continental climate, characterized by summer heat and limited moisture, are also considered.
