The data contains morphological parameters of broccoli plants (leave number, dry weight, plant height) grown in a climate chamber under various light treatments (UV-A-green) with 4 repeats in undependent light compartments. Each compartment contained two broccoli plants resulting in eight biological repeats. In addition performance parameters of Brevicoryne brassicae (developmental time, adult weight, and fecundity) were analysed and the plants were quantified regarding HPLC Analysis of hydroxycinnamic acids, kaempferol and quercetin glycosides and indole and aliphatic glucosinolates at the end of the experiments. The aphids plant choice behavior was also investigated regarding different light treated plants. The light spectra measured with a licor light meter are also shown to define the light qualities used in the experiments. <br>
