<b>The London Infection PostDoc Network 2024 symposium: </b><b>feedback from our post-event survey</b>

The London Infection Postdoc Network (LIPN) is a multi-institutional platform founded in late 2021, with representatives from The Francis Crick Institute, Imperial College London (ICL), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), Birbeck - University of London, University College London (UCL), Queen Mary University London (QMUL) and the Lancaster University, with the aim of supporting scientific and social exchange between young researchers working in the field of Infection Biology in London. Supported by funding from the Francis Crick Institute (Networking fund), the Microbiology Society and diverse industry sponsors (2B scientific, Avantor, Cell Signaling technologies, Cytiva, Integra, New England Biolab, PCR Biosystem, Promega, Stratech, Thistle Scientific and UK Biosciences), LIPN successfully delivered its second one-day symposium, envisioned as an event <i>by</i> ECRs <i>for</i> ECRs to promote scientific exchange. <br>Following the meeting, we sent out a survey to all participants, aiming at understanding how the symposium was received, what we did well and which improvements we should incorporate in the next event.
