资源简介:
This study explores the role of self-construal in cognitive biases among Chinese college students, using structural equation modeling on data from 748 undergraduates in China. It finds that independent self-construal is linked to positive cognitive bias, while interdependent self-construal shows a balanced response to positive and negative stimuli. Key mediators like attentional control, self-esteem, cognitive reappraisal, and need to belong were identified, highlighting the importance of self-construal in information processing and mental health. The research supports culturally tailored mental health interventions and suggests expanding this inquiry to other cultures with longitudinal studies.
