This volume provides an audit record for the Court of Petty Sessions of all their books that contain receipt forms for money; for example, Dog registration receipt books, Sunday trading licenses and application books, Subpoenas, Auctioneers licences, Execution books, Recognizances, etc.Page 1 provides a Record of Audits performed at that Court. Columns for the date of the audit, the auditor’s signature and the number of the last notification checked are provided. Pages 2 to 4 are index pages. A description of each book, the Government Printer’s Stock number and the folio number are entered here. From page 5, the remainder of the volume gives details of individual books. Each of these pages are divided into columns with the headings: requisition number, date received, commencing number, closing number, date brought into use, officer’s initials, date completed, remarks, and auditor’s signature as to completion or cancellation.
