Host-pathogen interactions of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis infection at transcriptomic level were investigated in an in vitro macrophage infection model by dual RNA-seq analysis. Overall design: Human THP-1 cells differentiated by PMA were infected with Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis for 3 hrs. Total RNA of infected cells were subjected to dual RNA-seq.
