Applications for residence rights

The source of applications for residence rights is the residence and work permit register. A citizen of the European Union, a member state of the European Union Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation (hereinafter EU citizen) has the right to stay in Estonia on the basis of a valid travel document or identity card for up to 3 months without registering the right of residence. A family member of an EU citizen has the right to stay in Estonia for up to 3 months with an EU citizen and the family member must have a valid travel document and visa.居留权申请的数据源为居留与工作许可登记系统。欧盟、欧洲经济区成员国及瑞士联邦的公民（以下简称欧盟公民），凭有效旅行证件或身份证件可在爱沙尼亚停留最长3个月，无需办理居留权登记。欧盟公民的家庭成员可随同该欧盟公民在爱沙尼亚停留最长3个月，且该家庭成员需持有有效旅行证件及签证。
