Bulk-RNA of MACS isolated Microglia from a Parkinson Mouse Model brain from young and old mice and Parkinson and Control

Bulk RNA-seq dataset of microglia isolated from a transgenic Parkinson's disease mouse model (Camk2a-tTA; V1S/SV2 α-synuclein). Microglia were enriched from adult brain by enzymatic dissociation (Miltenyi Adult Brain Dissociation Kit), Anti-O4 oligodendrocyte depletion, and CD11b positive selection (~2 M cells per pooled sample). Total RNA (Zymo Quick-RNA Microprep) was used to prepare strand-specific libraries (QuantaBio sparQ RNA-Seq HMR), sequenced on a NovaSeq X (PE150, ~166 M reads/sample). Reads were trimmed (fastp v0.23.4) and aligned to mm39 extended with the Camk2a-tTA and V1S/SV2 transgenes (STAR v2.7.3a, GeneCounts). This deposit contains gene-level count data as a SummarizedExperiment with corresponding sample metadata.
