资源简介:
Intestinal parasitic infections, caused by helminths and protozoa, are major causes of worldwide morbidity. The gut microbiota may modulate parasite host response and virulence. The complex interplay between parasites and the gut microbiota is poorly understood, partly due to sampling difficulties in remote areas with high parasite prevalence and burden. The goal of this study is to investigate how parasitic infections can influence the composition of the gut microbiota.
