DNA target enrichment data to resolve the phylogeny of cuckoo wasps (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae)

The wasp family Chrysididae (cuckoo wasps) comprises exclusively parasitoid and kleptoparasitic species, of which many feature a stunning iridescent coloration. Previous attempts to infer the phylogenetic relationships of the family's major lineages by analyzing Sanger nucleotide sequence data were insufficient to statistically robustly resolve the early diversification of the group. Nucleotide raw reads obtained from next generation sequencing libraries enriched for 502 single-copy nuclear-encoded genes were combined with RNA-seq data from the 1KITE project (www.1kite.org) to infer the evolutionary history of cuckoo wasps. The raw data, as provided here, have not been filtered for contaminations.
