Co-designing a Technology-Assisted Parenting Program for Implementation within an Adult Mental Health Service to Support Parents Seeking Mental Health Care
收藏资源简介:
Parents with mental health challenges are at an increased risk of parenting difficulties that can contribute to mental health issues in their children. However, parenting support is often delivered separately from mental health care. This thesis aimed to adapt a technology-assisted parenting program for integration within adult mental health services to better support these families. By reviewing research evidence and collaborating with parents and service providers, the project identified key considerations for tailoring such programs to the needs of parents and services and developed a prototype program. Findings highlight the potential for technology-assisted parenting programs to support parents seeking mental health care and their families.
