Vibrio alginolyticus is the most common bacterial species in temperate and tropical oceans. In the study of isolating Vibrio alginolyticus phages for biological control, it was observed that the bacteria frequently produced anti-phage mutations, and the colony phenotype of the mutant strains showed polymorphism. However, the current experience of genetic variation of resistant phage mutants based on genome-wide data is very limited. The genetic variation and adaptive evolution characteristics of bacterial genomes under the pressure of phage infection are still unclear, and there is a lack of comprehensive and intuitive evidence support.Therefore, by sequencing the whole genome of Vibrio alginolyticus E06333, focusing on the mutation sites of its anti-phage mutants and its potential functions, the prediction of key anti-phage candidate genes and genetic evolution analysis were realized.
