Transcriptome and genome sequencing of centella asiatica

We assembled a high-quality Centella asiatica genome and studied the dynamic changes of transcripts of key structural genes of Centella asiatica saponin synthesis pathway under the treatment of methyl jasmonate, and analysed the regulatory mechanism of transcription factor family and Centella asiatica saponin structural genes by transcriptome analysis, which revealed the mechanism of Centella asiatica saponin synthesis, and provided a complete and high-quality genome information for Centella asiatica molecular-assisted breeding and genetic improvement.
