The dataset consists of images and corresponding land cover or vegetation class labels. There are 12 categories including broadleaved indigenous hardwood, deciduous hardwood, grose broom, harvested forest, herbaceous freshwater vegetation, high producing grassland, indigenous forest, lake pond, low producing grassland, manuka kanuka, short rotation cropland, urban build-up, and urban parkland. The dataset contains only a training set with a total of 13,000 samples.
