Alterations in gene expression induced by GSK101 in trabecular meshwork cells

This study investigates the effects of TRPV4-specific activation on primary trabecular meshwork (TM) cells, focusing on the impact of the TRPV4 agonist GSK101 (25nM) following a 12-hour treatment period. The study aims to explore how TRPV4 activation influences cellular responses in TM cells, which play a crucial role in regulating intraocular pressure and aqueous humor drainage in the eye. By comparing the effects of GSK101 treatment to a control group, this research seeks to better understand the molecular mechanisms underlying TRPV4 function in TM cells.
