This is an outbreat investigation by whole genome sequencing of Serratia marcescens The outbreak event occurred in a tertiary hospital in South Korea. There were multiple cases of neurosurgical site infection and the WGS study of S. marcescens from the patients' and environmental specimens indicated that these infections were associated with contaminated shaving razors.
