Heat stress is an important type of environmental stressor in animal breeding. Many studies have shown that heat stress can cause systemic reactions in pigs and reduce reproductive performance of sows. However, researches have mainly focused on the effects of heat stress on the development of early embryo and ovary, while less attention has been paid to the effect of heat stress on the endometrium of porcine embryos in the early stages of implantation and its molecular regulation mechanisms.
