Permafrost ground temperature and active layer thickness data on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau (2001–2020)

This dataset contains long-term permafrost monitoring data from the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau (QTP) spanning 2001 to 2020. It includes annual records of ground temperature and active layer thickness (ALT) from multiple sites across different alpine vegetation zones and elevations. The Excel file provides metadata and annual averages of ground temperature at various depths (TTOP, 10 m, and 15 m), as well as ALT values derived from temperature profiles. These data are useful for studies on permafrost dynamics, climate change impacts, and model validation in high-altitude permafrost regions.
