Beaufort Gyre Observing System Moorings A, B and D (2022-2023) acquired data on the variations of the vertical distribution of seawater properties, bottom pressures and sea ice draft at 3 sites in the Beaufort Sea to document changes in sea ice and ocean parameters that are presently occurring in the Beaufort Gyre region. Measurements are from bottom pressure recorders (BPRs), McLane Moored Profilers (MMPs), and upward looking sonars (ULS). Processing procedures are described in the documents BGOS_ULS_Data_Processing_Procedure.pdf and BGOS_MMP_Processing.pdf.
Mooring locations are:
A: 75 North, 150 West
B: 78 North, 150 West
D: 74 North, 140 West
