Kidney MicroRNAome of ground squirrel in response to torpor

The thirteen-lined ground squirrel undergoes cyclical torpor and arousal cycles during hibernation. During torpor, there are many changes that occur including metabolic rate depression and decreased oxygen delivery. In this study, we investigate biochemical changes in the kidneys during torpor.
