Replication data for: Presence of orchid mycorrhizal fungi at two developmental stages under different climatic conditions in Rhynchostele cervantesii (Orchidaceae)

Dataset of mycorrhization in Rhynchostele cervantesii, including mycorrhization percentage in cortical cells (with pelotons), number of pelotons, peloton digestion grade, and mycorrhization according to root type (aerial or substrate-attached) and root zone (apical, middle, and basal). Data were obtained in situ from 50 adult and 50 juvenile plants during wet and dry seasons over two years. One to two roots per plant were sampled. Peloton digestion state was classified as intact, in digestion, or digested. The dataset is organized into four files corresponding to mycorrhization percentage, peloton number and digestion grade, root type, and root zone. Statistical analyses were performed using JMP® version 11. Statistical analyses included Kruskal–Wallis non-parametric tests, Mann–Whitney pairwise comparisons, and one-way ANOVA. (2023-05-30)
