Survey on Scientific Publishing Practices and Perceptions at the European Solid Mechanics Conference 2025

This dataset contains anonymized responses collected during a survey on researchers' knowledge, practices, and perspectives regarding the current scientific publishing landscape. The survey was conducted among participants of the European Solid Mechanics Conference (ESMC 2025). The goal of this survey is to gather insights into how researchers choose journals, what they expect from publishers, their awareness of Open Science practices, and how they anticipate the role of AI and new publishing models evolving in the future.
