National defense sectors most targeted by North Korea state threat actors 2022-2023

From July 2022 to June 2023, North Korean nation-state or state-affiliated threat actors launched a significant number of network intrusions against national defense industries. Russia saw the highest share of cyber incidents, accounting for 14 percent of such notifications. Furthermore, the United States and Israel followed with 10 percent of the cyber attacks targeting the defense sectors of each of these countries.
