Dataset for "A Stochastic Energy–Reliability Framework for IoT PHY Selection: Protocol Dominance Phase Transition in Coded and Uncoded Wireless Systems"

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “A Stochastic Energy–Reliability Framework for IoT PHY Selection: Protocol Dominance Phase Transition in Coded and Uncoded Wireless Systems.” The dataset contains experimental and processed data used in the study, including packet error rate (PER) measurements under LoS and NLoS conditions, RSSI logs, path-loss fitting inputs, and per-packet energy measurements obtained from Nordic Power Profiler Kit II (PPK2). It also includes processed files used to generate the main figures and tables reported in the manuscript. The experiments were conducted on ESP32-C6/H2 platforms for three PHY configurations: IEEE 802.15.4, BLE 5.0 1M PHY, and BLE 5.0 Coded PHY S=8. A README file and data dictionary are included to describe file structure, variable definitions, units, and experimental conditions.
