δ15N-PN, δ13C-PC, particulate organic nitrogen and particulate organic carbon measurements from CTD niskin-collected water column profiles obtained in the Fram Strait during NERC CAO cruise JR17005, May-June 2018.

This dataset contains δ15N-PN and δ13C-PC data, together with PON and POC concentrations collected at 27 stations during cruise JR17005 (RSS James Clark Ross, 13th May to 6th June 2018). This cruise was part of the National Environment Research Council funded Changing Arctic Ocean Programme (www.changing-arctic-ocean.ac.uk). Samples were obtained from three transects on the Greenland Shelf (76 °N), across the Fram Strait (79°N; 10°W to 11°E) and within Storfjorden (77°N). δ15N-PN (o/oo) and PON (μg/L) were collected using CTD-mounted Niskin bottles from the top 200 m of the water column and δ13C-PC (o/oo) and POC (μg/L) from surface samples (upper 10 m). Samples were analysed using an Elemental Analyser - Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer (EA-IRMS) at the University of Liverpool.
