CSIRO marine litter monitoring methods handbook

This collection houses the CSIRO marine litter monitoring methods handbook Part 1 and Part 2, and its associated appendices. Multiple languages are offered.

Part 1 provides information about the different monitoring approaches that are taken in international marine litter monitoring programs, and provides guidance on best-practice approaches for regional-scale marine litter monitoring.

Part 2 provides a comprehensive explanation of the CSIRO marine litter survey methodology. The CSIRO survey methodology uses a transect approach, and captures multiple habitats (inland, river, coast, sea surface) at each surveyed site. Part 2 of the handbook has been translated into multiple languages. Associated appendices are found in Part 2 of the handbook, but are also attached as individual files for English and Portuguese.

Part 2 - old version. This is an old version of the CSIRO survey methodology Part 2 handbook. The primary difference is that it describes how to use the data sheets to record survey details. This contrasts to the current version that describes how to use the digital ODK app to record survey details.
