资源简介:
Living microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi, contribute to the formation and accumulation of soil organic carbon (SOC) through the anabolic metabolism of organic materials, turnover, and necromass formation after death. Additionally, soil microbial growth and death maintain a dynamic balance when microbial residues are used as C sources. However, the intrinsic mechanism underlying this phenomenon is unclear, particularly in anaerobic paddy soils. Clarifying the microbiological mechanisms underlying fungal residue turnover in paddy soils is essential to reveal the direct contribution of microbial residues to SOC formation and sequestration. We sought to investigate the fungal residue C in microbial communities within microbial food web and assess the effect of fungal necromass on C accumulation and SOC stabilisation.
