Multiple myeloma (MM) is still an incurable plasma cell malignancy that generally responds well to treatment intitially, but eventually becomes refractory. In the present study, genomic and transcriptomic changes were investigated in paired early and late tumor samples of MM patients . RNA sequencing (RNA Seq) were performed on longitudinal tumor samples taken from multiple myeloma (MM) patients to identify genomic and transcriptomic changes during disease progression. The own-institutional cohort consisted of sequential tumor samples (n=51) from 21 MM patients, of whom two or more samples had been obtained during their disease course, from the MM biobank of St. Olavs Hospital, Norway or Erasmus MC Cancer Institute, Netherlands. **Due to patient privacy concerns, raw data are not provided**
