The dataset (The Sustainability Dilemma Among Gen Z Consumers) serves the purpose of providing full transparency and replicability for the novel theoretical framework introduced in this study, which conceptualizes the "subjective social dilemma" as an internal psychological conflict experienced by young consumers during sustainable consumption decisions. Nature of the Data: The dataset comprises survey responses from 360 Generation Z consumers collected in a Latin American context. It includes raw data for all latent constructs measured in the study: collectivism, perceived environmental self-efficacy, environmental concern, and the subjective social dilemma construct. The file contains demographic variables and all items used in the measurement scales, allowing for full inspection of the data distribution and properties. Scope and Technical Documentation: The uploaded materials include: (1) the complete dataset in [appropriate format, e.g., .csv or .sav]; (2) the Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) analysis file with AMOS outputs, including path coefficients, model fit indices (CFI, RMSEA, SRMR), and standardized residuals; (3) comprehensive reliability analysis showing Cronbach's alpha coefficients for each construct, (4) Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) statistics confirming the absence of multicollinearity concerns among the predictor variables; and (5) the correlation matrix for all latent variables.
