Separating the Impacts of a Corrosion Inhibitor from Copper Corrosion Products on Antibiotic Resistance

This study looked at the impacts of corrosion products with and without zinc orthophosphate addition on antibiotic resistance. Two sets of microcosms were run. One where individual corrosion products were added alongside a control. Another where corrosion products were added with zinc orthophosphate. DNA was extracted with FastDNA SPIN Kit with a liquid nitrogen cell lysis step.
