The Cherax quadricarinatus is an economically and nutritionally important species. Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a major conditional pathogen that negatively affects the health and commercial productivity of freshwater shrimp and crabs. Differential transcriptional analysis of hepatopancreas genes of control treatment ,susceptible and resistant (asymptomatic) crayfish injected with Vibrio parahaemolyticus was examined using high-throughput sequencing technology.
