Vicon 3d motion capture walker gait

This dataset comprises a total of 844 medical records collected from neurological patients aged 19 to 91 at Chungnam National University Hospital using the Vicon Motion Capture System between 2013 and 2021. To ensure consistency in the study, records lacking temporal parameters, missing age or gender information, or without diagnoses of incomplete tetraplegia, incomplete paraplegia, or cauda equina syndrome (CES) were excluded.Patients with incomplete tetraplegia and incomplete paraplegia were selected based on ASIA classification grades C and D, indicating partial preservation of motor function. As a result, a final dataset of 214 records was extracted, consisting of 95 patients with incomplete tetraplegia, 68 with incomplete paraplegia, and 51 with CES, all containing age and gender information. This final dataset is organized in an Excel file, which is included within the zip file.Key temporal gait parameters, such as cadence, step length, double support, and walking speed, are included to facilitate machine learning analyses. The dataset aims to support research in gait analysis, neurological diagnostics, and machine learning applications, providing a noninvasive resource for early diagnosis and personalized treatment planning in neurological conditions.
