Rapid sequencing of the critically endangered Abronia anzuetoi as part of the ORG.one project https://org.one/oo. A. anzuetoi is an arboreal lizard species of the genus Abronia, distributed mostly in Guatemala and Mexico showing high levels of endemism. A. anzuetoi was known only from its type locality in the southern slope of the Volcan de Agua in Guatemala. It was rediscovered after more than 40 years in the northern slope of the volcano. To this date, there is no whole genome data publicly available for the genus.
